Mentioning a lot about the cutting I think is important as I think there should be some documentary about Scorsese's collaboration with Thelma Schoonmaker. Immediately as I was scrolling down slowly in the frame, I was thinking 'Did Robert Richardson shot this?' and I realized how right I was as I'm so familiar with his work in photography. I remember Ben Wheatley stating that this film along with Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street is part of thematic trilogy of decadent lifestyles.
